I’m doing this, not just to improve my fitness but to raise money for an amazing cause - ANBU UK.

Abuse Never Becomes Us (ANBU) UK, is a charity organisation that works with those impacted by childhood sexual abuse within the Tamil community.

According to the latest statistics provided by the charity Rape Crisis, 1 in 6 children has been sexually abused. Common challenges that survivors may go through include anxiety & panic; shame & guilt; intimacy; relationships; dissociation; sleep and much more. The trauma these survivors go through is heartbreaking.

ANBU UK works with the Tamil community’s historic and present trauma to explore the community's capacity to heal and break the silence secondary to the stigma associated with sexual abuse by running therapeutic groups, awareness sessions and workshops.
