Ashgrove's fundraiser for Medical Detection Dogs

Ashgrove Clinic is raising money for Medical Detection Dogs

Team: APM Mass Skydiving Event in aid of Medical Detection Dogs

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of disease. Our research includes cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases and could save millions of lives by improving diagnostics. We already help people manage complex, life-threatening medical conditions by training Medical Alert Dogs.

Story

On 25th July 2026 we'll be taking part in The Academy of Physical Medicine's mass skydiving event at Sibson Aerodrome, near Peterborough.

The Academy aims to take up all 50 available tandem skydiving places in an effort to raise as much money as possible for Medical Detection Dogs.

MDD do a fabulous job of training our canine friends to help with all sorts of medical conditions: diabetic emergencies, epilepsy - even cancer.
