I have chosen to take part in 10YFan 2026 - 10 ascents and descents of Pen Y Fan in 24 hours (totalling 29000 ft and over 40 miles) to raise much needed funds for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, the official charity of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, NHS Wales. I love a challenge and being able to refine my resilience and determination, but a challenge with a cause is even more special. NHS patient's are the true hero's and they deserve all the support possible throughout their medical journeys and beyond.

I am also a member of the armed forces, I serve as a medic and an Advanced Physical Training Instructor in my unit, I have additional qualifications as a personal training instructor, and simply, when I am not working, I love all things training.

I am deeply grateful for my job in the NHS, and the life I have built here in Wales for the last 6 years. I want to give back to my community, and I know that organisations like CAV Health Charity make an incredible difference for patients in our care. I want to help make more of a difference for our patients and the resources and support they and their families can access. 10-Y-fan presented as the perfect opportunity to do so! Every mile, and every donation will matter.
