Doreen's is a Hull based charity who give care packages to vulnerable people and families. Care packages can be anything that is needed at that time by individuals - they've given away food parcels, maternity bags, children's toys, Easter eggs, school uniforms, as well as helping with refurnishing housing for domestic violence victims.

Every year they raise money for their Easter egg campaign - because a little bit of chocolate makes all children happy, right? And Hull has some of the highest rates of deprivation in the country. In some schools that they donate to, an average of 3 out of 5 pupils are living in poverty. And to make sure that they don't leave any child out, they donate an Easter egg to every single child in the school.

Starting in 2020, the Easter egg campaign has grown and grown and last year, they gave away their largest haul yet - a massive 2,401 Easter eggs!

This year, between myself and Gary, we're running a total of 300km over 30 days. Gary's definitely a runner - I certainly am not - so this will be fun! So please, if you could support this fundraiser, we would be very grateful!
