In Summer 2024 I will be one of a team of six attempting to swim the English channel for Aspire.

This is no mean feat.

There will be cold water with no neoprene allowed😮 potential sea sickness(I won't know till the day), swimming in the dark, as well as having to dodge a few jellyfish along the way!

The English Channel is 22 miles long. We will each swim an hour at a time in the order we are given until we reach France.

I am doing this to raise money for Aspire; Aspire provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal cord injury, supporting them from injury to independence. Having worked as a Physiotherapist in a spinal injuries unit in New Zealand I know how much rehab and support is required after injury.
