Story
Last September I made the decision to sign up for this year’s Great North Run. This is something that I have been considering doing for the last 5 years or so but have never had the guts to commit to…until now! After failing to get a place in the ballot I decided to sign up for a charity place and will therefore be raising money for Mind.
This is either gonna be one of the best or worst decisions I’ve ever made!🙈😂 I’ve never done anything like this before and can barely run up the stairs most days, so just training for the GNR alone is going to be a huge challenge for me.
I would be extremely grateful for any amount you can contribute to my fundraising over the next few months. Mind is a charity that I don’t feel gets as much attention as other charities. Although it is something I don’t discuss that often, I myself have experienced mental health issues over recent years as have others close to me. I am hoping that by doing this it not only raises money for a good cause but also raises awareness of an issue that should be easier for people to talk about.
My fundraising target is £400. Anything after that will pay for the ventilator I’m going to need after completing the run! 😉😂
So here it goes….
