Ashleigh's fundraiser for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Mumbles Raft Race · 27 July 2024
I’m taking part in the Mumbles RNLI raft race in memory of my mother Emma Munoz Bello Jones who sadly passed away on the 16th of February this year due to cancer. She has always been a massive supporter of the RNLI Lifeboat station and the volunteers who risk their lives to help anyone in need. She has been an inspiration to everyones lives and anyone who has been blessed with her presence. She has always turned up to the raft race to show her support and I’m sure she will be looking down with a smile in years to come. We have named the raft Emma in her memory so she can truly be part of the event.
The Mumbles RNLI raft race is a charity race event created to help raise money for the RNLI Lifeboat Station situated on Mumbles Pier. The RNLI Lifeboat provides a hugely important and much needed service to the people of Swansea and South Wales in general.
It’s a vital service that is provided by experienced and trained volunteers. The service survives with yearly donations and charity events, such as the Mumbles Raft Race. To maintain a service just like the RNLI Lifeboat and rescue team does requires a commitment to continually raise money.
The full rescue service can then continue to help save people’s lives and that is in everyone’s best interests. Please donate to the Swansea RNLI Lifeboat Rescue Service so that the service can continue to save lives now and well into the future. It would be greatly appreciated if you could support the cause by attending the event or donating. Any little donation would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for the support!
