I'm all about stepping outside of your comfort zone so, for this year's charity effort, I will be running the AJ Bell Manchester half marathon to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society and the Doncaster Deaf Trust that run my local deaf school (a separate page will be set up for this).

Being deaf means that there are extra social and educational barriers in place and both of these charities work tirelessly to try and overcome them.

All donations will be going towards helping make society more accessible for deaf young people, and will help to ensure that we have the same opportunities as everyone else.
