10K Great Manchester Run & The 26 Miles Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

So in my 60th year I thought I would take on a couple of challenges. Firstly the 10K Great Manchester Run. I have never really run before other than for a bus and a little bit around a squash court so a whole new experience for me! This happens on Sunday May 26th and then just as my legs recover I am walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks (A 26 mile circular walk scaling 3 of the highest peaks in Yorkshire) on Saturday June 15th. As most of you know my Mum is suffering from vascular dementia so anything that you could do to donate towards The Alzheimer's Society would be so very kind and helpful. It is an amazing organisation trying to support people in many, many ways suffering from Alzheimer"s and dementia.
