Story
My name is Ashleigh and I have three life-threatening food allergies, all of which I developed after the age of 30. First came dairy, then soya, and alpha-gal, courtesy of a tick bite!
I’m taking part in the Natasha’s Foundation Buddy Walk to mark the fifth anniversary of Natasha’s Day and the introduction of the law created in her name. Natasha Ednan-Laperouse died from anaphylaxis at just 15 years old after eating a baguette from Pret A Manger which contained sesame seeds, not listed as an ingredient on the label.
By taking part in this walk, I hope to raise greater awareness of the seriousness of food allergies, while raising vital funds to support Natasha’s Foundation and its vision of a future without food allergy.
If you’re able to support my walk with a donation, I would be incredibly grateful. ❤️
