Story
Thanks to St Michael’s Hospice, my father David, was able to be cared for at home in his own bed in his last few days after three long years of battling Bowel Cancer. Thanks to them, Dad was able to be at home for his last few days, as he wanted.
This year, I am running the Santa Run in his memory to raise memory to help the Hospice continue providing that support to other people.
By supporting St Michael's Hospice we will continue to give care for the people in our community that need us, whether that's pain relief, respite or counselling support.
We will also strive to go above and beyond with support groups, carers and those who have been recently bereaved being invited in for lunches, fun events and ways to get involved.
Raising sponsorship for St Michael's Hospice means that these additional services, beyond conventional care, can continue. Whatever you can give towards this event, we really appreciate it.
