In keeping with Ashley's wishes, he wanted his farewell to be simple and asked that instead of sending flowers anyone wishing to remember him may consider making a donation in his memory to one of two charities.

Cancer Research UK is one of them. Through its vital work in funding research, improving treatments and supporting those affected by cancer, the charity continues to make a difference to countless lives.
