We brothers, at Ashton Hiking Club have been devastated by the news of the earth quake. Like everyone else, we are seeing the images and videos flooding-through via TV & social media. We have decided to take action and show our support to our Muslim brothers and sisters by doing a fundraiser and taking on the Snowdon challenge.

Already there have been over 20,000 killled, along with tens of thousands more being injured after the huge 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey’s southeastern border with Syria. Rescuers are racing to save people trapped in the rubble following the collapse of buildings in both countries.

Action for Humanity already have teams based in Syria/Turkey and are mobilising on the ground in response to this disaster. With your donation, we can ensure that life-saving aid reaches quickly and effectively to those in need. The quicker the resonse the more lives that can be saved.
