Story
This week (Sept 13th), the Aspen Bridging team is AGAIN taking on the Wolf Run, a muddy water obstacle course through the Warwickshire countryside, in support of the National Institute for Conductive Education (NICE).
NICE is personal to me. I'm a trustee, alongside my father and uncle. I've spent time at the centre in Birmingham seeing the work first-hand in the school, where children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions build the skills to move, communicate and learn independently, and in the adult services, which help people with conditions like Parkinson's, MS and stroke maintain their independence.
NICE has incredibly just reached the 40 year milestone of undertaking this work in Birmingham and I hoping to play a small part in ensuring the next 40!
The team is getting muddy for it & any support would really mean a lot.
