Lady Captain and I will be playing 18 holes of golf, across 17 different courses (a hole per course) starting and finishing at Astbury GC, in a single day, to raise funds for our chosen charity, East Cheshire Hospice.

East Cheshire Hospice provides exceptional care to people living with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment to holistic care—medically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually—extends far beyond end-of-life support. They offer help to carers and families, manage progressive illnesses, and provide a warm, welcoming environment where every individual is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

As a registered charity, East Cheshire Hospice receives only 21% of its funding from the government. The rest comes from the generosity of the local community. To keep their vital services running, they must raise £9,362 every single day.
