This year, Astley Hire has proudly chosen Wigan & Leigh Hospice as our 2025 Charity of the Year. As one of a series of fundraising events 5 members of our team will be taking on this demanding Trek.

Pam, Amanda, Caryanne, Lorraine, Claudia and Paul will be taking on the Snowdon Sunrise Trek - a demanding night-time climb to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain at 3,560ft. This 9-mile challenge is to raise vital funds for this amazing charity.

We’ll be braving the dark, the cold, and the steep climb, all for a cause that’s close to our hearts. If you can, please donate and support us on this journey—every step we take is thanks to your generosity!

Wigan & Leigh Hospice provides essential care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses, helping them through some of their toughest times with compassion and dignity. The Hospice requires c. £12k per day to make this possible. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference in ensuring they can continue their incredible work.
