This February / Ramadan 2026, I - along with volunteers from across the world - will be travelling to Shām, to personally hand-deliver your donations to those in need.

After more than a decade of conflict, Shām remains in a prolonged humanitarian crisis. Years of war have devastated homes, hospitals, schools, and livelihoods, forcing millions of families into displacement and deep poverty. Many people lack reliable access to food, clean water, healthcare, and education, while children have grown up knowing nothing but instability and loss. Ongoing economic collapse and repeated shocks have left communities struggling to survive, making humanitarian support not just vital, but lifesaving.

This year, millions will continue to face unimaginable hardships, struggling to put food on their tables and may will break their fasts with little to no sustenance, especially orphans and widows.

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”

Your £59 donation will fund: A 27kg Food Parcel containing essential food items (lasting up to a month) as well as 200kg coal for heating and cooking (lasting between 4-6 weeks).

This appeal is Zakat and Sadaqah (general charity) applicable.
