Story

I'm raising money for Deafblind UK running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 12th April 2026!

I’m taking on a marathon to raise money for Deafblind UK, an incredible charity supporting people living with combined sight and hearing loss.

Deaf blindness can be deeply isolating. Everyday things many of us take for granted — a conversation, getting around safely, feeling connected — can become major challenges. Deafblind UK supports that in many ways. Through practical support, emotional care, technology support and life-changing services, they help people rebuild confidence, independence, and connection. That’s why this cause means so much to me.

Training for a marathon is tough. There are tired legs, mental battles and moments when motivation is fading. I remind then myself of people that are navigating life wiht limited hearing and sight and their strength keeps me going.

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page and donating to help Deafblind UK deliver practical and emotional support to thousands of people living with deafblindness every year.

Your support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
