Hello! My name is Atlas Radley and i have been under young carers for 12 years since 2012. My mum has Cerebral Palsy, a lifelong condition that implicates her ability to walk and move, due to a part of her brain not being able to function and send signals to her body in order to move. This can also put her in a lot of pain at times. When i struggled massively with my mental health, they were there. Romsey Young Carers have greatly improved our family’s wellbeing. For the last 12 years, we have attended parties, me and my brother have gone on respite overnight trips and had the most amazing times on day trips with children who come from similar situations. Romsey Young Carers are currently struggling. they sadly dont have the funding to continue with as many activities as they would hope to achieve. For Keren, For Chris, For Charlotte and for all of the children and young people currently utilising Romsey Young Carers. i would like to thank you for your unwavering support to my family and many others.
