In memory of Ruth Attenborough
HELP, SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE FOR THOSE WITH HEARING LOSS A quarter of a million people in Essex have some degree of hearing loss, nationally that amounts to one in six of the population. Hearing Help Essex exists to alleviate the isolation and loneliness that hearing loss can bring.

Story

Ruth was a dedicated volunteer for Hearing Help Essex for many years, and we will all miss her kind and supportive presence. During her time as a volunteer she supported hundreds of individuals, and generously shared her own experiences to empower and enable those struggling with their hearing aids.

Thank you for supporting our cause in Ruth's memory.

Hearing Help Essex has been running support services for almost 40 years. We exist to ensure that no one feels isolated by their hearing loss, and can live a happy and fulfilled life despite their invisible disability.

We have seen a huge increase in demand for our services, providing support on almost 15,000 occasions last year alone. With your help we can continue to provide support in a timely and effective way, ensuring that everyone receives the specialist help and guidance they need to live well with hearing loss.
