Story
Archie and I are completing 3,899 press ups in June to recognise the 3,899 people who lost their lives to suicide in England in 2022.
Mental Health has always played a large role in our lives, whether that’s our own or the mental health of people around us. We hope that through small steps we can put more of an emphasis on the support within UK universities and where so many continue to struggle.
Whilst we push for mental health, we also want to recognise the impact of issues at home on school life. This is why we have chosen to fundraise for School-Home Support (SHS).
SHS is a charity working with children and families to maximise educational opportunities and improve life chances. The biggest influence on a child’s life is their experiences at home. SHS employs expert practitioners to work with families on addressing a wide range of complex issues.
We want to both challenge ourselves physically and hope to raise money for SHS so that everyone has the support they need in order to thrive.
