Our Practice team 'Are we there yet?' have signed up to the Aberdeen Kilt walk challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, a charity close to all of our hearts.

On Sunday the 1st June 2025 we will don our tartan and walking boots and attempt 'the Mighty Stride' - an 18 mile walk from Banchory, Aberdeenshire to Duthie Park, Aberdeen. This will certainly prove challenging for a group of casual lunchtime dog walkers!

Prostate cancer is a significant health issue in the UK, with one in eight men being diagnosed. Key factors influencing risk include age, ethnicity, and family history. Prostate Cancer UK offers extensive resources, including information on symptoms, treatment options, and support.

As a Practice we see the effects this disease has on our patients and family members and wish to raise money to continue to support those affected.
