The Audley Avenue 24 hour Relay has become an annual community Avenue event with most of the Audley Avenue residents taking part. It's lots of fun and a time when the community comes together. We will be cheering off our first participant at 10.00 on Saturday 10th May and welcoming our last participant to the finish line at 10.00 on Sunday 11th May.

This year we have chosen to raise money for the local branch of Age UK who are about to launch an appeal to raise £50,000 for two new minibuses. These vehicles are a lifeline for so many older people – getting them to dementia and social groups, when they would otherwise be isolated at home. We are delighted to be part of this effort.

In addition to this particular appeal, Age UK gives older people opportunities to live healthier lives, build friendships and stay as independent as possible, for as long as possible. They also offer information, advice and give practical and emotional support. With your help they will be there for older people in our community when needed.
