Aureus's fundraiser for Multiple System Atrophy Trust

Aureus School is raising money for Multiple System Atrophy Trust
The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA); a life-limiting neurodegenerative condition. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free support services.

Story

This year, we faced a heart-wrenching challenge as one of our cherished educators was diagnosed with MSA, a life-limiting neurodegenerative condition that currently has no cure. This diagnosis has not only impacted her life but also the lives of countless students who have been inspired by her unwavering dedication and passion for teaching.

In honor of this remarkable individual, we are committed to raising both funds and awareness for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust, the only charity in the UK and Republic of Ireland dedicated to supporting those affected by MSA. The Trust provides essential services such as a free MSA Health Care Professional service, Social Welfare Specialist Service, a telephone helpline, and regional support groups—both in-person and digital. These services are vital for families navigating this challenging journey.

We invite you to join us in this important mission. Our goal is to raise £5,000 to ensure that these invaluable resources continue to be available for those in need. Your generous contributions will not only help provide immediate support but also fund critical research aimed at understanding the causes of MSA and ultimately finding a cure. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many who are affected by this devastating condition.
