Story
By taking part in St Thomas' Abseil, I am supporting Myeloma UK.
Too many people with myeloma are harmed by delays in diagnosis, and struggle to access the treatment they need. Myeloma UK are making amazing progress in the research and treatment of myeloma, but they need to go further, faster.
Every day, 17 people in the UK are told they have myeloma. Thousands of people are already living with myeloma. Life with myeloma can be relentless, an exhausting cycle of treatments, remissions, and relapses. But it doesn’t have to stay this way.
By donating today, you could help:

Your support goes a long way.
Cancer is something my family has lived with since my mum was diagnosed with myeloma in 2019. Myeloma is a blood cancer that develops in plasma cells, and unfortunately, it is a condition she will live with for the rest of her life. Her diagnosis had a profound impact on our entire family, and our lives changed dramatically.
When my mum underwent chemotherapy in 2025, the support provided by Myeloma UK was invaluable. I honestly don’t know how we would have managed without the information, guidance and support they provided.
