Hello everyone,

My name is Aurora, I'm a 23 year old graduate that will be heading to Kenya this summer as part of a team of volunteers with Play Action International.

I'm very excited to have the opportunity to be part of this team which will be working together to transform an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground for vulnerable children to have a safe place to play and develop.

Your generous support will enable my team and me to build an environment which focuses on enhancing children's learning, development and access to education through play.

The reason why I've chosen to volunteer for this project is because the power of play has been shown to transform children's lives. As a result of playgrounds being built, 98% of schools have seen a significant increase in enrolment, 83% found children's behaviour and concentration in class improved, and 74% of children gave 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

Every single donation, regardless of the amount, will be greatly appreciated as it will play a key role in supporting this amazing cause and contributing to a brighter future for the children, school and wider community.
