Given the acute humanitarian crisis created by the Russian invasion in 2022, I am raising money to buy 1/2 a (used) ambulance and emergency medical supplies to be delivered to Ukraine this March. Another driver will do the same.

This will be my third ambulance drive to Ukraine, certainly my last funded drive. I raised about GBP12,000 and drove to Kyiv for MLLU in October 2023. I remember the number of fresh graves in the cemeteries as we went by. I drove again, to Lviv, in November 2025. There were many many new fresh graves. The need now is as acute as before, maybe more so. If we can save one life or limb, it is worth it. I have met many brave people in Ukraine; I can confirm for you how genuinely and sincerely they appreciate what we are doing for them. And we make it clear to them that our donors are the key to our success. They do not know you, but they thank you.

I very much appreciate any and all the support you can give. I will fund travel expenses into and out of Ukraine (about four nights in hotels, food and beverage and the train and flight back to London), in total somewhat over £1000.

Medical Life Lines Ukraine was set up in 2022 by volunteers just after the Russian invasion. All the money raised goes to support Ukraine. They have delivered 113 ambulances to war-torn areas of Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion on 24th February 2022. Russia continues to target civilian infrastructure including apartments, hospitals, and electricity generation. The demand for humanitarian aid, civil defence support and medical supplies is unrelenting.
