Austin is almost there to achieve his Chief Scout Bronze award through beavers and has to set himself a ‘personal challenge’ as part of the award.

He has chosen to swim 1000m during half term to challenge himself physically and raise money for Cancer Research UK. Those of you who know, will know that his step dad John has recently been going through some treatment for cancer so Austin wants to raise money to help others in the future who face a similar challenge.
