There is currently no mechanism to identify, let alone, support children when a parent goes to prison. We provide a holistic, tailored package of support, enabling children to mitigate the impacts of their parent's imprisonment - raising aspirations and breaking the cycle of intergenerational harm.

Story

For International Women’s Day 2024, Australian Women in London & the UK Over 40 are holding a walking tour in London. This is a private tour that is only open to our members and other invited participants. The focus of our tour is on notable Australian women, the suffragist movement and female convicts who were transported to Australia.

The ticket sales will be transferred to this fundraiser for Children Heard and Seen, which is a fantastic charity that supports children and families with a parent in prison. We love the fabulous work they do and are glad that our humble contribution will make a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people.
