🚴♂️ Why we are cycling 355 miles
We are taking on an incredible 355-mile cycling challenge from John O’Groats all the way to Glasgow to raise vital funds for AutisFun Group’s new ASN Family Hub.
This challenge is being led by Lee Jack, founder of The Fallout Bunker, alongside his team of big-hearted men who make up the Fallout Bunker community. Together, they are determined to go the distance for a cause that truly matters.
AutisFun supports children and young people with additional support needs (ASN), along with their families, by providing inclusive activities, peer support, and a safe community where no one feels alone or misunderstood.
Over the past three years, AutisFun has supported hundreds of families — and the demand for services continues to grow every single day.
That’s why we are working towards creating a dedicated hub: a welcoming, inclusive space that will allow AutisFun to expand their services dramatically and reach even more families who desperately need support.
The new hub will provide:
• ASN-friendly sessions and activities
• Support groups for parents and carers
• Workshops, advice, and practical resources
• A safe place for young people to build confidence and friendships
• A community space where families feel understood and included
The hub will also help AutisFun continue to offer subsidised excursions, day trips, and coach transport, keeping costs manageable for families in the current climate. Many families simply cannot afford these opportunities without support — yet they are vital for inclusion, confidence, and creating joyful memories.
This hub will be life-changing for so many children, young people, and families across Glasgow and beyond — but we can’t build it without help.
By cycling 355 miles, we want to raise both awareness and the funds needed to make this dream a reality.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards helping AutisFun open the doors to a space where ASN families can thrive.
