I am fundraising for Beaumaris Youth Band to get to Linz, Austria, to play in the European Youth Brass Band Championships. In April, around 50 of us band members will represent Wales, competing with other youth brass bands from around Europe.

I play the tenor horn in the band and will be playing a solo. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us and such an exciting adventure, we are all working very hard to prepare!

Since moving to North Wales 4 years ago, I have loved exploring the area on my bike, so I thought, why not turn this love for cycling into a fundraiser for the band?

I’m going to cycle around Anglesey in a day. It’s a 70 mile round trip and although many people say Anglesey is flat, this is a complete myth!!

These funds will help the band travel to Linz to help represent Wales in the European Championships. If you would like to help make this happen, please donate what you can!
