“Fundraising for the Avalon Christmas Party & Sleep Woorkshop”

on 7 December 2025

Avalon was set up following the Autism diagnosis of our daughter Ava in 2015. We provide access to family respite services and access to therapies for children to enable them to reach their potential. Our aim is to help children thrive and to strengthen the familiy unit to keep families together.

Story

APUC are raising vitial funds to support two vital services for Avalon Autism Family Support. They are a small parent led autism charity that deliver services to support autistic children and their families by providing Parental Peer Support and Family Connection Events.

We will specifically raise funds for an ASN Christmas Party in 2025 for 80 people. This event is totally inclusive and is designed for Autistic Children, their parents and siblings to bring families together. This will include lots of inclusive activities for the children to help create fun, build friendships and connect. Without our support this event will not go ahead this year

In addition, we will be raising funds for a bespoke online sleep workshop that will be offered to our network of parents. This will equip parents with key tips and strategies to help their autistic children get a good night sleep. This is often a major challenge for autistic children and their families.
