National Three Peaks Challenge · 30 September 2023

East Anglian Air Ambulance provides advanced critical care 24/7 to the most seriously ill and injured people in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire by air and road. Each tasking costs on average £4,250 and, with no regular government funding, we rely almost entirely on public support.

Story

Avelair team - Brad, Daniel, Jamie, Raymond, Michael, Paul and my self are all taking on the challenge of climbing the National three peaks;

Ben Nevis

Scafell Pike

Yr Wyddfra (Snowdon)

All in 24 Hrs.

Thats 23 miles, 3064M of elevation and the driving of 462 miles between them.

We're raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance as it's a local service/charity that do amazing work all year round. A little bit about what they do -

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. They exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. They do not receive regular direct government funding and the £17 million they need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations.
