I'm proud to be joining #TeamARUK in the 2026 Sydney Marathon this August!

Alzheimer’s Research UK is a cause near and dear to my heart as my beautiful mother, Dr. Mary Burnside, suffers from Alzheimer’s. I have witnessed how truly evil this disease is and have firsthand experience watching this disease take my mother away from us, stealing her intelligence, her successful career, her keen sense of humor, independence (but never her love for her children). Even through all of this, she continues to be the kindest and most amazing mother.

While I’ve always been passionate about running, since my mother’s diagnosis running has helped me persevere. With my Mom always on my mind, I’m proud to have recently completed the NYC and LA Marathon and am so excited to support such a impactful cause in Sydney.
