I'm aiming to swim 15km in May!
May is my birthday month, and May 2025 is exactly 5 years since I did my 'walk 15,000 steps every day' fundraising challenge in the first covid lockdown - I figured half a decade is enough time to pass before I asked you all to empty your pockets again...
Since I started my part time MSc in October, my life has become a bit too sedentary, so I have been trying to move my body more lately, especially since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia just a few months into the course in January. I'm also finding that swimming is a good chance to switch my brain off a little and wash away some of the stresses of life!
Bi Pride UK is extremely important to me, because bi people deserve better than the world gives us, and every bi person in the UK should be able to celebrate themselves without having to fight to be heard and respected. The charity has also been a labour of love for me for the last 8 years, and funding has never been more difficult.
Please consider dropping a donation here - maybe you think BPUK does important work, maybe you like me a little bit and want to make me happy for my birthday, or maybe you just think the world is a depressing place right now, especially for queer people, and it would be nice to make it just that little bit brighter!
Thank you so much for your donation - and I promise I'll keep you updated with my progress towards the 15km target...!
