Each year, AW Control Systems Ltd proudly supports a local charity, and this time, our team has chosen Children’s Heartbeat Trust as our Charity of the Year. This incredible organization has been a vital source of support for one of our own colleagues Nicola, her Husband Paul and their little baby William, making it even more meaningful to champion their cause.

Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a Northern Ireland-based charity dedicated to providing practical, emotional, and financial assistance to children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD). They collaborate closely with the paediatric cardiology team at Clark Clinic in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children to ensure the best possible care, treatment, and support for families navigating the challenges of CHD.

As they receive no government funding, their essential services depend entirely on voluntary donations. Every contribution makes a difference, and to further their mission, we’ve launched the Run, Walk, or Swim Challenge—a commitment to keep moving every day in May.

For every employee who completes the challenge, AW Control Systems Ltd will donate up to £150, based on their individual targets. We warmly invite friends, family, and the wider community to join us in supporting this effort—whether through donations or words of encouragement. Your generosity will provide a huge motivation for our team and, most importantly, offer invaluable help to Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
