Story
Each person who makes a donation will be eligible for a FREE eBook version of "A Write Difference", no matter the amount. That's 153 pages filled with 32 different titles - you can make a positive change for others and yourself through the joy of reading.
The 2025 honours class of the UHI Creative Writing degree are raising money for Marie Curie through their non-profit charity anthology, "A Write Difference". They have set up four fundraisers for four wonderful charities, including this fundraiser for Marie Curie. It is their hope that their creative works can encourage readers of the anthology to make "A Write Difference" of their own by donating to the cause.
Physical copies of "A Write Difference" can be found on Amazon at shorturl.at/hF7gv (Please note: as the book is sold at manufacturing costs, the price does not contain a charity donation)
"A Write Difference" is an anthology featuring poems, short stories, flash fiction, essays, and novel excerpts from up and coming Scottish authors. It aims to explore the very best each contributer has to offer, displaying the vibrant differences in their approaches to storytelling. A student who embodied that sense of vibrance was Valentina Francecshi.
In 2024, Valentina passed away from ovarian cancer. Valentina studied alongside the contributors of the anthology, though she never had the chance to participate in it. The anthology is dedicated to her, and features one of her short stories alongside a short essay by John R. Campbell, remembering Valentina.
No matter how big or small, donations are appreciated by each and every one of us. Thank you.
Sincerely,
UHI Creative Writing in the Highlands and Islands Honours Students, 2025
