Story
In 2017, our lives changed overnight when my dad was involved in a serious bike accident. What followed was an incredibly challenging time for him and for us as a family.
Throughout his recovery, Headway has been a constant source of support, guidance and hope. They have not only helped my dad rebuild his strength and confidence, but have also supported us as a family as we learned to navigate life after brain injury.
That’s why I’m taking on the Edinburgh Marathon — to give something back to a charity that has given so much to us.
Every mile I run is a thank you for the care, encouragement and community they’ve provided since 2017.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me — and it will help Headway continue supporting other families like ours when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support 💛
