This charity event is to support Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal in Bristol. When our little boy Ivar was born he was diagnosed with Bilateral Vocal Cord Palsy (paralysis of both vocal cords). We were immediately transferred to Bristol St Michael's hospital in NICU. The team of nurses were absolutely outstanding in looking after Ivar as he was one of their own and supporting us in the mean time, giving us so much guidance and help as first time parents. The supporting charity gave us family accommodation for the 3 weeks we spent there which was directly opposite the hospital so we could be as close to Ivar as possible. As you can imagine this was so relieving and we can't thank everyone enough who helped make our time a bit easier.

So in return I've decided to do a sky dive for The Grand Appeal. They are a fantastic charity and go above and beyond for the children at the hospital and the parents. Including supporting the hospital by funding life saving equipment!
