Blackwater Valley Shotokan Karate is celebrating our 20 year old birthday and we are raising money for the National Autistic society to realise my dream of fundraising for the NAS. I'm truly grateful for this, especially since it hasn't been long since I joined the club.

So 100 Karate katas in between 2 to 3 hours for fun and a challenge in recognition and acceptance of Autism and a birthday milestone to our Karate school.

Recaudando fondos a beneficio de las personas autistas y celebrando el 20 aniversario de un Club de Karate Especial, el BVSK.

La solidaridad de mi club de Karate está haciendo posible uno de mis sueños, el recaudar fondos para las personas con autismo. Estoy especialmente agradecida ya que no llevo mucho tiempo en el club, pero han acogido mi idea con los brazos abiertos.

¿Y cómo lo estamos haciendo?

De dos maneras:

1.- A través de esta página web que estás visitando.

2.- Con un evento benéfico en el que los miembros del club se autoretaran y así celebraremos el Autismo y el 20 aniversario del club. Cada uno haremos como mínimo 50 katas (un kata es una secuencia de ataques y bloqueos que siempre se realizan en el mismo orden). En el vídeo me puedes ver realizando un kata. Mi intención es la de hacer 100 katas continuamente. Nos llevará mínimo dos horas. ¿Te interesa? Ven a vernos, entrada gratis. El evento tendrá lugar el sábado 8 de junio de 2024 a las 10h.
