Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are raising money in memory of our Dad, Brian MacCallum. Although not diabetic himself, this was an illness close to Dad’s heart as his son Michael was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, aged just 7. This type of diabetes is not linked to diet. It’s an autoimmune condition often inherited. Type 1 diabetes ran in Dad’s family with his own father having the condition too. We know that Dad would want others to have the help and support our family received when Michael was diagnosed and feel this fundraiser is a great way to honour his memory.
