This May I'll be taking part in the Snowdon by Night Hike to raise money for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.

My wife Roisin and I know first-hand how important charities like Sands are for grieving people and families. We lost our baby son Joseph two years ago and in that moment our world collapsed. The pain and anguish we felt was almost too much to bear, but one of the few things that got us through those first few days, weeks and months was the support and care available from Sands.

Now I'd like to do something for others going through a similar tragedy.

I'll be hiking through the night up Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), in memory of Joseph and I'd love for you to donate if you can. Every penny raised will go to support bereaved families and research into saving babies' lives, helping ease the pain and offer hope to those who need it the most.
