After a little break, ‘Hamish’s Quiz’ is back and we are hoping to raise enough money for another Abi Cooling Cot.

Over the years we have raised enough to fund 9 cots from the quiz and other fundraising events. Sands and Abigail’s have purchased the cots and then placed them in hospitals across the UK.

As many of you know, we didn’t have a refrigerated cot when Hamish was born. We were able to spend time with Hamish to create memories, but the time was limited.

Hamish was unable to create his own legacy, so with the support of family and friends we will write it for him.

“The Abi Cooling Cot is a refrigerated unit that allows families to spend more time with their deceased baby than would otherwise be possible. The cooling cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process.

The cooling cot is supplied by Abigail's Footsteps in partnership with The Bond Group .

We have delivered cots to over 100 hospitals and hospices in the UK and Ireland so far. It is our mission to encourage all bereavement suites in hospitals to have at least two cooling cots.”
