Back on Track Charity Dinner at 20 Stories · 6 March 2025

We work with people in Manchester who have been through problems with alcohol or drugs, homelessness, mental health and offending. We provide training, work experience, volunteering and mentoring, equipping people with the skills they need to build a better future.

Story

Back on Track work with people have experienced issues including homelessness, problematic drug and alcohol use, and mental health problems. Because of demand, the number of people they're supporting has risen by 40% in the last year.

At their centre in Manchester, they provide learning, skills, wellbeing and employment support for around a thousand people a year. Back on Track enable people who have been through problems in the past to build the skills they need to lead happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives.

97% of the people Back on Track support say they are more hopeful about the future after coming to Back on Track.

Back on Track are a small charity and the money raised from this event will make a huge difference. Donations mean they can reach more people at a time when their services are needed more than ever – for example by covering the costs of life-changing support, or by providing healthy meals for people living in poverty.
