Ollie and Ben climbing Mt Toubkal for Charlie's Promise

Oliver Badgery is raising money for Charlie's Promise
In memory of Charlie Cosser

Climbing up tallest mountain in North Africa (4167m) · 11 January 2026

Created via charity sign up service.

Story

I’m raising money for Charlie’s Promise because the horror of knife crime is a massive issue in today's society. Also, in support of the work Martin and the rest of the charity have been doing up to this point.

Charlie’s little sister is also someone I consider one of my closest friends and seeing the impact that this tragedy has had on her family has made me determined to help. Supporting this charity is my way of honouring Charlie’s memory, standing alongside his loved ones and working towards a future where fewer families have to endure such heartbreak. Every donation helps move closer to safer communities and gives young people the chance to be educated about the impact of knife crime in hopes of growing up free from the fear of violence.

To raise funds, me and my friend Ben will be climbing up the tallest mountain in North Africa and the Atlas Mountains (Mount Toubkal) hopefully reaching the summit (4167m) on the morning of January 11th.
