Story
Six-year-old Virginia Garcia, the daughter of farmworkers, died 50 years ago due to economic, language, and cultural barriers. Her passing led to the beginning of a movement that would change health care access in our community.
Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center began in response to this urgent need, without grand infrastructure or abundant resources, but as a promise to provide care for those who would otherwise go without. Today, our mission is simple. We provide comprehensive health care services to those who need it most.
