Dear Sir/Maam I hope this finds you in good health. I am seeking for support on behalf of Dream Soccer Academy, a football academy dedicated to providing a safe space and environment for children aged 10th, 13th to 15th who aspires to excel in the beautiful game of football. We created this academy due to the nature of our community as all we see around us is Alcohol drinking bars and prostitution houses in our neighbourhood so we grew up in that environment with few or no role models. These places I mentioned only attract bad people or individuals to our community and most of our group age mates couldn’t escape the nature of our environment and went astray. We didn’t want our young ones to face such things which we face and that of our elder’s which was the main reason this football Academy is found, to engage the young ones to positively spend their free times, to teach and guide them, give them hope and encourage them to push their limits in football and all areas of life. We all have seen the opportunities of what football can do to an individual, community and a nation at large. We have also seen the growth of the grassroots’ football in The Gambia and we don’t want to be left behind.

At Dream Soccer Academy, we firmly believe in the power of sports to transform lives, install discipline, and foster valuable life skills. Our primary goal is to offer young talents a platform to develop their skills, learn teamwork, and build character in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. We have been training since February 2022 every day at 15:00GMT in small field of 60 by 60 yards around the Kitty Highway. We also have been playing numerous test games with different academy teams. The young lads are talented, discipline and always ready to put in the work.

To continue our mission of empowering young football enthusiasts, we are seeking support from generous individuals or organizations which share the same goals and ideology. We are currently in need of football training equipment’s to enhance the quality of our training sessions and ensure the safety of our young players. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of these great upcoming athletes. Here are some examples of the equipment we urgently require: Soccer Balls: Soccer balls are essential for skill development and practice. Training Cones and Markers: These are crucial for setting up drills and improving agility, speed, and precision in our young players. Jersey’s and Training Kits: Ensuring that our Team have jerseys and training gears to give our young ballers hope and motivation as it will give them a good training environment and uniformity.
