Throughout the years we've managed to raise £11,334 for Mind, and we're back again to try to raise anything we can while also promoting awareness for Mental Health. As always my usual roster is back with our baking superstars Beth Pennell, Seb Carss, Louise Brazier, Lis Mancini, Tyrone Wade, Michael Wright, and David Lyons.

We'll be in the office (in the street) on Tuesday 12th of May with a selection of baked goods, and all money raised will go directly to Mind.org.uk.

A few years ago one of my friends who I look up to, and have always been inspired by, unfortunately, took their own life. He'd always been very outspoken about his mental health issues, and as someone who has and does suffer with depression, hearing someone so openly talk about their struggles, and continue to every day strive for perfection and make those round him happy has always been a source of inspiration for me. His death left me numb for weeks, it still does, and I’d give everything I own to bring him back, not for myself, but because I know there was others who also needed him as a source of strength. Which is where all this stems from, I want to help contribute something that might hopefully make a difference, even if that amounted to helping just one person, any extra time in this life is priceless and can be the difference between making the choice to stay or leave. I can’t help my friend anymore, but together we can all help the friends of those that need it. It's okay to not be okay, and it's normal to not feel normal.
