On December 11th, I’m taking on a marathon-style basketball shooting event at a local leisure centre. My mission is to raise funds for 'The Family Haven,' a charity that provides vital support to vulnerable families, children under 5, and survivors of domestic abuse.

Event Highlights:

Date: December 11th

Duration: 12 hours of non-stop shooting action.

Tracking: Every shot will be meticulously tracked using the 'HomeCourt AI' software, ensuring precision and excitement.

This helps us to support families in need during their various crisis by providing essential respite, enabling them to stay together as a unit. Warmth, shelter and a friendly atmosphere, as well as support, friendship, advice and more to be found at The Family Haven.

The Family Haven improve the physical health of our families by providing healthy daily meals, healthy eating workshops and food parcels (when necessary). They also provide training opportunities, for teenagers with learning difficulties, those who have been excluded from mainstream education, as well as those from local schools and colleges.

Since I have been on the receiving end of homelessness and experiencing said vulnerability, I want to help those in need and prevent them from experiencing the feelings and struggles that I have.

The event will be being live streamed.

All shots are being tracked, as mentioned, to ensure accurate tracking for the competitions.

I will only be taking breaks to use the bathroom, have a drink and consume some snacks.
