Ballater's fundraiser for Prostate Cancer Research

Vicky Clark is raising money for Prostate Cancer Research

Naked (but tasteful!) Calendar

People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

Prostate cancer is now the most diagnosed cancer in the UK. People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.

A small community within Royal Deeside, Scotland, want to do their bit for this important cause. 11 local tradesmen have proudly come together to create something special, something the small village of Ballater, has never done before…. a nude calendar!

The idea came to light following a family member of one of the organisers of this event, recently being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Having no symptoms, and feeling well in himself, contributed to the shock, therefore proving the importance of not only raising money for the charity, but also raising awareness to all men. If we can get even one man to get checked, we will have been successful.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Remember, with your support you will be helping to fund ground-breaking research and innovative treatments to help save the lives of men who have been impacted by prostate cancer. Our aim is to raise money for a worthy charity, raise awareness to men and to have one heck of a laugh in the process!

We would like to ask for your support for this worthwhile charity because let’s face it, unfortunately cancer affects us all at some point in our lives.
